Jim was a special person!!  One who could always make you feel this is ……….  She / he is really important to me!!!  Jim didn’t take the easy road in life, he chose a path ,worked really hard, and with intense passion loved his family and  friends (& lots of lucky people who took his tours of Brooklyn)
   He was the Accetta family historian and would send me pictures of relatives we never knew and of early life for our Accetta line.    When we were all growing up close in age and for many years after, while our grandparents were alive we ,The O’Hans,  spent so much time together.    Those memories will always live on.   Life gets busy families grow from the inside out and sadly less time for cousins you were so close with 😢.    But no matter what family was so important to cousin  Jimmy that I have a voice mail I have kept on my phone from 8 months ago. (All others deleted) that I just never wanted to erase.   I have listened to it several times since hearing the sad news of Jimmy's passing.   It gives me comfort and also knowing he is probably starting  an amazing tour guide business in heaven.   RIP cousin Jim.  I love you ❤️

Jimmy was my dearest friend going back 20 years. I loved him so much.. Jimmy had a special quality about him. He was so very good natured and kind and now the world is a different color because he’s not in it..

There was no one like Jimmy Acceta. Brooklyn Jim! Sing out loud! Lighten every room! Everybody laughs when Jim is around! He was my amazing cousin whose calls always made me feel more connected to my New York family. Jim knew all the family history from one hundred & seventy years past,
Okay, some true, some myths, some stories that make you roll your eyes and say, "For real?" No matter, I'm going to miss all the stories. 
Jimmy loved his family with no exception. We were everything to him and he was everything to us.
 Rest in sweet peace, Udder Brudder. I'll miss you until we meet again.
