Joan was predeceased by her brothers Louis and Robert and survived by her sister Mary Ann.
The life of the party, she lit up the room with not only her beautiful smile, but with her light up sneakers. She was often seen with a flower vase on her head leading her family dancing the Conga to the Copa Cabana song. Mom loved life and her family.
Joan will be remembered for her warm heart, her kind and generous soul, her devotion to her faith, her love of pretty flowers, traveling all over the world with her husband and good friends, her mahjong days, her weekly hair salon appointment with Linda, who she adored, and going to the gym to not only exercise but socialize. Joan had the gift of gab.
But mostly, she will always be admired for her selfless love and care of her beloved family that brought the most joy in her life.
While we all will miss her, her spirit will live on in each of us that she loved so deeply.
