Gaeta – Louis, age 94, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2016. He was a proud veteran of WWII with the U.S. Army. He was a former parishioner and usher of St. Saviour R.C. Church in Brooklyn. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann Gaeta (nee Pepe). He is survived by his loving daughter, Lorraine (Pierce), and her husband Bill.
Relatives and friends will be received at Joseph Duffy Funeral Home, 255 – 9th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215, on Friday September 16 from 2 – 5 pm and 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Saviour R.C. Church, 8th Avenue and 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY on Saturday September 17 at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island. If desired, donations can be made in Louis’ memory to Disabled American Veterans, USO, or Wounded Warrior Project.
