
Lydia, devoted wife, loving mother and loyal friend is survived by her husband, Miguel A. Vazquez; her five children: David, Anthony, Stephen, Cindy and Humberto Jr. She is also survived by her three sisters Irma Dejean, Gloria Torres and Ana Rodriguez, and nine nieces and nephews. Lydia had eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren who brought much joy and happiness into her life.
Lydia was born May 13, 1943 in Santurce, Puerto Rico. She was a longtime resident of Park Slope, Brooklyn. She was a diehard NY Yankee fan, loved to read, especially her bible and dedicated all her free time to the church and helping others. Lydia had an enormous and generous heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, as she touched many, many lives.
A church service is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2015 @ 2:00p at St. Augustine's Catholic Church located at 116 6th Avenue, Brooklyn. Condolences may be sent to the family at 63 St. John's Place, Brooklyn, NY 11217.
