I remember the first Lyvann met. I believe i was backing up my car. There was a kitty about to cross the street. I said nicely to her. I'm like you to a T. I always watch out for the little ones and people to. She was always quiet around me. Which was great, I do miss her everyday. Her smile & Her Presence.

Loved her smiles. She always had smiles for everybody. i was a Cat person also. I am a animal lover as Lyvann's  was to. She is by all that knew her. May Lyvann Continue to Rest & Sleep in Eternal Peace. Amen.

I just found out my heart hurts, I can’t believe this my friend my sister,, we love you 

All of a sudden while sitting in bed Lyvann popped up in my head. She’s done this so many times since her passing.  Why this happened is beyond me. Our friendship started because of her cat Stella. Over twenty years ago. She was such a part of our lives. Always bringing food and treats. I told her while visiting her in the hospital how much someone really means to someone. She meant so much to me.  Even though this might sound crazy she talks to me and I listen. Love you 

Lyvann was my very first friend when I moved to NYC in 2003.  She took me under her wing and made NYC feel a little smaller, warm and welcoming.  She was very generous with her her time by showing me how amazing NYC could be.  I will miss our adventures around this city.  Missing you, Lyvann.  

I attended Lyvann's Temple Ceremony wanted to share but knew I would have a melt down. I miss my crime partner. She was a sweet, funny and giving person. Always ready to help and/or look for a solution. Our days at EJ's office were full of laughter and lots of eating. We shared a love of pork and strong Spanish coffee with steamed cream. We looked forward to the once a year coconut and pineapple " easter cake" though we both did not celebrate. One year we each took our portion home. My husband ate my portion and Lyvann's mom ate hers. We practically rolled on the floor laughing. Only EJ got to eat his portion. We also shared a love of cats and animals in general. We shared a similar view of the world.  I am Indigenous, Lyvann would fix my hair in a French braid and placed my sacred hawk feathers in my hair as I got ready to attend events at the United Nations. My feathers are only touched or handled by my spiritual sisters. Lyvann was my spiritual sister. Mama Than, Lyvann loved you and you were always on her mind. My sister is free, my tribe also believes in reincarnation. We also believe we will meet up again, especially those I hold dear and near. Lyvann is among them. Until next time Kiddo. Ansihi bui d'itu! (Love you my sister). 

My heart is truly saddened. Lyvann was the first friend I made in High School, making me laugh before we knew each other's names. I will never forget the many funny moments we shared thereafter.  We let time and life get in the way of reconnecting  for some time but she was always in my thoughts. I will hold the memories of our halcyion days  close to my heart.


We want too remember  Lyvann with her with Family... She was outgoing , she loved her Family n Friends..Plus her pets..
I remember when I came onto the block. Her Dad I am Mayor here to here.  You Gary is Mayor from there to there. 
But I am going to remember both with smiles on there faces..
Mom is always  busy in her yard fixing her vegetable garden. But she always has time for the Family.  We will miss Lyvann and Her Dad.

I am so saddened by the news of Lyvann’s passing. We were friends in high school, part of a small group who “fit in” with ourselves, as we didn’t fit in with our peers. We bonded over music and other popular culture.
Truly a kind soul, Lyvann was always ready to share a fantastical tale or two 💖

Lyvann and I first met in high school. Our friends overlapped and soon we were exchanging 80s New Wave mixtapes. She was such a giving person, quick to laugh and equally fast to lend a hand if you needed it. The sun is a little dimmer and the skies are little darker without her big smile shining through. She'll be dearly missed.  

I was just thinking about you over the last few days. About the walking tour of Brooklyn you gave us. I had been gone for years and so much had changed. Reminiscing and taking part in the things you loved was and will always be a cherished memory. Thank you for your friendship and the awesome cookies. Your sweet soul will be missed. 

I am so saddened to hear of Lyvann's passing. We were friends in high school and recently reconnected again. I am so happy we did. 
Lyvann was a generous, kindhearted, and very funny person. I am so lucky to have been able to have called her a friend.
