Michael graduated from Brooklyn College in 1957, where he was a member of the fraternity Phi Lamba Delta. After a short stint in the Army, he began his career at Macy’s Department store in their training program, eventually working his way up to Store Manager before his retirement in the late 90’s.
Michael was preceded in death by his former spouse, Jane Feder, and is survived by his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Jocelyn Feder.
Michael enjoyed taking trips with his son, listening to music, and enjoyed books and movies from many different genres. He was a avid sports fan, and held a special place in his life for the Brooklyn Dodgers of the 1940’s and 1950’s.
He was a devoted father and dear friend to many in his lifetime and will be sorely missed.
Michael will be buried near his parents, at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, New York.
