

Born in the lower east side of Manhattan on March 29th, 1937, she was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, New York. She is remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering support for her family and friends.
Mildred is an exemplary mother figure and human being. She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her family and friends. She has touched so many lives, and the world is a little less brighter without her in it. She will be deeply missed.
She was predeceased by her mother and father Wallena & William Thomas, her brother William Thomas Jr, her sister Dorothy Goss, her husband Marcelino Cordero, and her daughter Marlene Cordero. She is survived by her family members including her children Michael Cordero & wife Shaneka, Ricardo Cordero & wife Mara, Lisa Cordero, and her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life on Tuesday, January 21st from 5pm-9pm at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223.
Funeral procession on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 at 9am, immediately followed by an interment from 11:30am - 12:00 pm at The Evergreens Cemetery, 1629 Bushwick Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207
A visitation for Mildred will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A visitation will occur Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. An interment will occur Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at The Evergreens Cemetery, 1629 Bushwick Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11207.
