I apologize that this message is so late in posting.  I only found out yesterday that Olivia had passed away.  Lucas and Peter were classmates of my children.  

Lucas and Peter were terrific youngsters and I am sure, are now terrific adults.
Olivia, in my estimation,  was a very intelligent and compassionate woman and a dedicated and loving mother.  

She did have a heart of gold and such a beautiful smile.

My condolences to the family.  

Almost forgot.  Peter and my daughter were classmates when they were very small and Olivia penned a poem for my then 4 or 5 year old  daughter starting with, “Justine, Justine, as regal as a queen….

Olivia loved all children.

As I sit at my desk feeling the need to write something about my incredibly special sister-in-law, Olivia, I feel a loss of words because how can I possibly describe how important she was to me, my wife, our precious four children and so many other people? 
There were so many examples of kind and loving acts from Olivia, but there is one that I want to mention because it meant so much to me.  Olivia made each one of my four children feel special and loved. As an example, on numerous occasions she not only invited all my children to her home, but she also invited each one individually.  When it was their turn to visit their Aunt Olivia, she made each child their favorite foods, desserts, played games, watched movies, and of course spoke about the Lord.  Also, she would come over with prepared meals that always included my children’s favorites. 
From my first acquaintance with Olivia, over 40 years ago, she always made me feel welcome, special, and appreciated.  My heart is experiencing the pain of my family’s loss and we are left struggling with the reality that we will never again experience Olivia’s joyful, spiritual, and loving presence, which very naturally emanated from her. However, we are comforted knowing that Olivia has eternal happiness because she is with Jesus in Heaven.
 Olivia has always said “have faith in God and he will give you strength.”  May God Bless us and give us strength.


     My sister, Olivia, was extremely influential in my life and,  undoubtedly, this was true for so many of her family and friends. 
No matter where she was or who she was with, Olivia was full of joy and love, and she had no issues sharing these qualities with the world.  
     Olivia and Vinny baptized my daughter Gianna, but she considered herself godmother to all four of my children.  Olivia was a wonderful aunt.  She was always positive and encouraging, and never failed to be supportive and generous with her time.  Olivia took her role in their lives very seriously, especially when it came to matters of faith.  
     I can go on and on about Olivia, but I’d like to close by sharing a quote from a chaplain at Lutheran Medical Center:  "I prayed a customized prayer for patient and her family after which Olivia asked me what needs I wanted to pray about, and she created a custom prayer for me."  That was Olivia!

My deepest sympathy to Olivia’s family. We went to OLG and St.Edmunds together. I have wonderful memories of her. She was one of the kindest  people I know. She had a great sense of humor and could always make you smile. May her soul rest in peace 🙏

My heart is broken that our precious sunshine, Olivierr is not on this earth with us anymore! At the same time, I hated that she had suffered and I'm comforted that she is no longer suffering from anymore pain because she is now in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ where there is none of that going on in heaven! Olivierr was like an aunt to me; she was closer to me than my biological aunts along with my other Horizon Christian Fellowship family! Olivia has known me since a little girl. We had Bible studies every week together, Church on Sundays (she was my Sunday School teacher and she was the creative director for church skits and events!) We shared Fourth of July vacations together at Fellowship Deaconry almost every year, we went to Hershey Park together, Kesick Retreat, Christian concerts, various holidays and so much more! Every moment with Olivierr was so special because it was filled with LOVE, JOY, LAUGHTER, PEACE, prayer, child-like WONDER, and FUN! I LOVED when she danced, worshiped, spoke a few words in Italian, sang, cooked, shared the gospel of Jesus with people, reworded lyrics to secular songs to make them gospel-filled...wore beautiful, vibrant clothing, reenacted the Honeymooners and I Love Lucy, and so much more! She was always encouraging people, always praying for people, always exuding the love of Christ to people; she shined so BRIGHT! I loved her shirt that said, "Jesus is Lord".  I also really loved how much she loved her husband and children! She loved them with all of her being! I loved how she loved butterflies and the color purple...I think that's who i got that from! I also love butterflies and the color purple! I'll never forget when we went to her house for her Valentines Day Princess of Jesus parties and she treated us like queens from the desserts/food/presents to her encouraging words to us reminding us how much Jesus truly loves us! She told us that with tears in her eyes and with such genuine love in her heart.   

To Olivia's Family. I am so very sorry for your loss.  My memory of Olivia is that she was always very sweet with a big smile on her face.  We went to OLG together.  May Olivias memory be a blessing.  May she Rest in Peace 💞🙏🏻💞

My sincere condolences to the family.  I can still hear Olivia's laugh.  We attended OLG and St. Edmund's together and met every morning at the East 1st and Avenue U bus stop.  May your memories be a comfort at this sad time.

It is with deep sadness to hear of the passing of Olivia, I haven't seen her in years but we went to grammar school together. I remember her kindness  and gentle demeanor always  .Her intelligence always stood out in my mind. We weren't best of friends but she helped me with alot of things I could not understand. I'm glad to hear your a sister in Christ and know you are peacefully sitting at the right hand of GD. I wish your husband and children, family to find their peace   . I have left you messages trying to reach you lately regarding our  65 th Birthday celebration in July with St Edmund girls and our 51 st  reunion from our Lady of Grace happening in 2 weeks  I was wondering why we didn’t hear back because Rick and I always got a return call in the past.  I’m so sorry if you were sick.  We will certainly miss your bubbly personality and gentle words of praise and glory.  Rest In Peace our dear friend Olivia Battaglia Croce 😢😥


I would like to honor a forever friend,  Sister in Christ, prayer warrior, loving and dedicated servant of God,endless  giver of herself and putting others first, Sunday School teacher,  beloved of many, dedicated mom , wife, daughter , sister and beyond.  A beautiful women of God who saw no boundaries in sharing Jesus with whomever came across her path. A encourager who would take the time to send a gift , note, card, favorite meal (she was a awesome chef)  a piece of jewelry and many tangible things to remind of God's love for us and her love as well The best impersonation of Alice from the honeymooners and countless others in  funny but meaningful  skits just to put a smile on someone's face or a joyful tear to our eye.  A women of God who would go out of her way to share the love of Christ with many who have may have lost their way or has never heard. A selfless daughter of the KING who always made time for others no matter what the cost.  I never heard her complain about anything but always thanked GOD in every circumstance.  A hostess what would out do a 5 star hotel to make you feel at home and made every detail of your time together special.  Above anything else I  could say she loved her God with all.of her heart and soul and mind.  We have been so blessed and we are honored to have had her in our lives. No words could ever do any justice of this one life that has impacted many. I love you my dear Precious Purple Princess Olivia Croce till we meet again 💜 . I will cherish all of our times and heart felt talks and prayers and much laughs over the years..I thank her husband Vinny and her sons Lucas and Peter for sharing her with us. #welldonefaithfulservant

Olivia was and continues to be a true child of God.  We were more than first cousins and had a special bond because of our mutual love for Jesus.  We often shared about God's immense love and we both had the same passion to share that Treasure with our family and friends.  I will miss Olivia but thank God for her life and the gift she was to all of us.

Olivia was a beautiful friend.  Even when we didn't see one another, it was always like yesterday that we hugged.  She had a great sense of humor.  Being with Olivia was always a delight.  She was encouraged.  Most of all we were prayer partners.  We always prayed, for each other's concerns.  Her faith is beyond measure.  Olivia had great love she. She had the love of Jesus & was ready to go to her eternal home with her heavenly  Father.  Olivia's greatest love was for her husband & 2 sons. A loving caring mom and wife.


I am grateful to God that I called Olivia my friend. She was always joyful, kind, fun, colorful, and hopeful. Olivia placed her hope in the Lord and His Word. 
One of her favorite verses was: May the God of hope fill you with all joy & peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13
God used Olivia’s vibrant, full-of-joy personality to reach the  lost & hurting people she met. She loved sharing that God loved them & that Jesus could become their Savior too.
 I knew Olivia very well. She would want me to remind you that God loves you too.   
Thank you Olivia (OliviERRR) for filling my life with so much joy and Jesus! I miss you already. 

My dearest cousin Olivia. I’m Going  to miss you dearly. I treasure the good times the four of us had going to Montauk and Cove Haven & being in each others bridal party. 
Olivia, you always had a smile and so uplifting and caring. May your family find comfort knowing you are with Christ. You always said to me everything is in gods hands and you were blessed to be alive another day. Will miss you dearly.

Olivia's heavenly smile is always joy for all to behold.  I will miss seeing that smile for a little while and I will be praying for the Croce family to receive comfort and peace from precious memories at this sorrowful time. May you be forever sustained and strengthened in Christ.   

Olivia was a dear and precious friend to me for 29 years.  Her death hit me hard (despite trying to prepare myself). She was a humble and loving woman of faith who loved Jesus supremely and showed that love to everyone she came into contact with. She was so joyful, fun and had an incredibly giving heart with the unconditional love of God that emanated her very being. She’ll be missed deeply on this side of heaven.
