On July 20, 2013, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones, Anna Pasternak Wahhab passed away at the age of 66, after a courageous fight with Ovarian Cancer. Beloved and devoted wife of 33 years of Mansour Wahhab, cherished and precious mother of Isabelle and Adam (Hayley), and dear sister of Maria (Marek).
She leaves to mourn many friends and family members, including several nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, in Poland, Palestine, the United States, and Canada.
The family will greet relatives and friends at La Maison Darche, 7679 boul. Taschereau, Brossard, Quebec, on Thursday, July 25 between 2:00 and 5:00 PM and 7:00 and 10:00 PM, and on Friday, July 26 between 9:00 and 10:30 AM.
The Funeral Mass to celebrate Anna's life will be held at St. Mary's Church, 125 Grove St. in Greenfield Park, Quebec (J4V 2X2), at 11:00 AM followed by the burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery in Montreal.
As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
