Brent Toye

1952-2026

C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de monsieur Brent Toye, le 23 mars 2026, à l'âge de 73 ans.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa conjointe Dyane Jobin, ses enfants Julie (Carlos), Eric et Vanessa (Luis), Michelle (mère de ses enfants), son frère Randall (Diane), sa soeur Pamela, sa belle-soeur Nicole, Isabel (Donald), ainsi que plusieurs parents et amis.

Il rejoint ses parents James Toye et Gladys Whitmore ainsi que son frère Donny.

La famille remercie sincèrement l'équipe des soins à domicile du CLSC Brossard ainsi que le centre St-Lambert pour leur dévouement et les soins attentionnés. Nous voulons également exprimer notre gratitude envers Colette et Renée qui ont contribué à rendre son quotidien plus doux et empreint de réconfort.

Brent était un homme généreux et attachant. Grand passionné de sport, il vibrait au rythme des Maple Leafs de Toronto, des Blue Jays et de son équipe de soccer favorite, Arsenal. D’une force admirable, il a affronté avec courage la SLA, faisant preuve d’une résilience inspirante jusqu’à la fin. Il laisse derrière lui le souvenir d’un homme vrai, aimant et courageux, qui restera à jamais dans nos cœurs.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison Darche, située au 7679 boul. Taschereau, Brossard, Qc,

J4Y 1A2 dimanche le 26 avril de 10:00-12:00, suivi d'une courte cérémonie pour lui rendre un dernier hommage.

Au lieu d’envoi de fleurs, la famille vous invite à faire un don à la fondation SLA Québec.

Brent Toye

1952–2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Brent Toye on March 23, 2026, at the age of 73.

He leaves behind his wife, Dyane Jobin, his children, Julie (Carlos), Eric, and Vanessa (Luis), Michelle, mother of his children, his brother Randall (Diane), his sister Pamela, his sister-in-law Nicole, Isabel (Donald), as well as many relatives and friends.

He is reunited with his parents, James Toye and Gladys Whitmore, as well as his brother Donny.

The family sincerely thanks the CLSC Brossard home care team as well as the St-Lambert center for their dedication and compassionate care. We also wish to express our deep gratitude to Colette and Renée, whose kindness and support greatly helped make his daily life more gentle and comforting.

Brent was a generous and deeply caring man. A true sports enthusiast, he passionately followed the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Blue Jays, and his favorite soccer team, Arsenal.

With admirable strength, he fought courageously against ALS, showing inspiring resilience until the very end.

He leaves behind the memory of a genuine, loving, and courageous man who will forever remain in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Maison d’Arche, located at 7679 Taschereau Boulevard, Brossard, QC, J4Y 1A2, on Sunday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a short ceremony in his memory.
