George Guirguis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Guirguis on October 28, 2019, at the age of 90, husband of the late Soad Abdel Miseeh. He is predeceased by his brothers Abdou and Kamal and his sisters Linda, Victoria, and Flora.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Mona, Abraham (Helen), Emad (Christiane) and Samia, his grandchildren Robert (Luisa), Elizabeth, Peter, his brother Fouad, and his cousins, nephews, nieces and families in Canada, Egypt and the US.

The family will receive condolences at La Maison Darche, Dignity Memorial, located at 7679, Taschereau in Brossard (J4Y 1A2) on Friday, November 1st, 2019 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 9am at Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church (6100, Grand Allee, St-Hubert, Qc, J3Y 1B4).

The burial will follow at St-Maxime Cemetery.

Contributions in George’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Fondation de l’Hopital Charles-LeMoyne.
