

Belinda Juanita Garcia Bonner, 44, born in Brownsville, residing in Arlington, TX, went home to be with our Lord on March 2, 2017 due to a lengthy Cancer battle at Cancer Center Treatment of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Belinda received a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education from UTB. She taught at Del Castillo for several years, and later on at Champion Elementary.
Belinda met and Married the love of her life, Keith Bonner in 2004. They relocated to Arlington, TX where she continued her passion for teaching at John’s Elementary for the past nine years.
Belinda continued her education and received a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. At the same time, she received the A.W.A.R.E foundation award which recognizes the Best Classroom teachers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Keith Bonner, her daughter, Sugar Bonner, Parents Demetrio and Gloria Garcia, sister, Denise Yvonne Garcia and Uncle Julio Garcia and countless numbers of adored students and teachers, coworkers and administrators. She will be missed dearly by us, never to hear her say, “Good Morning Sunshines” Now with heaviest of hearts it’s our turn to Say, Good Night Sunshine we shall see you again, when the sun rises once more.
Pallbearers will be Richard Barron, Reynaldo Barron, Eddie Barron, Ruben Barron, Ruben Garcia and Keith Bonner.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 12pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at 10am at Immaculate Conception Cathedral
followed by burial at Buena Vista Burial Park.
