Benjamin Cervantes

Benjamin is survived by his wife, Juanita Cervantes; his son Jose Luis Macias Jr.; his son Jorge Luis Camarillo (Hannah Cruz); his son Esteban Aranda; his son Isaias Macias; his daughter Elvia Cervantes Montalvo (Francisco Montalvo); his daughter Carmen Rodriguez (Mario Alvarenga); his daughter Irma Liz Rodriguez (Miguel Villa Gomez); his daughter Guadalupe Camarillo (Khalil Lewis); his daughter Arely Aranda; and his daughter Elena Cervantes; his brother Rosendo Sanchez; his great granddaugther Malia Sky Lewis.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his father Ignacio Cervantes † and his mother Guadalupe Amaya Hernandez †.

He is also preceded in death by all his siblings and left to cherish his memory are 4 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and numerous great grandchildren.

A visitation for Benjamin will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 12:00 PM at San Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church, 2215 Rancho Viejo Ave, Brownsville, TX 78526. Followed by a burial at 1:00 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.

Serving as pallbearers are Jose Luis Guzman, Jose Guerrero Jr., Jose Barajas, Roberto Cervantes, Graciano Frausto and Eduardo Frausto.
