He is preceded in death by his parents, Celestino and Julia Vasquez; sister Rosa Leos.

Left to cherish the memory of Mr. Martinez is his loving wife, Josefina Martinez; sons, Domingo (Laura) Jr. and Jose Martin; daughter, Anel Martinez (Javier) Lozano; grandchildren, Dafne, Brandon, Heidi, Katelynn; eight brothers, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 12 noon until 9 p.m. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. in the chapel.

Visitation will continue on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 8am – 10am at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A Mass of Resuscitation will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1200 E. Lincoln, in Brownsville, Texas, on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10am with interment to follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Javier Lozano, Jose M. Martinez, Domingo Martinez Jr., Celestino Martinez, Roberto Martinez and Ramiro Martinez.
