Samuel Emilio Garcia Sr., 75, past away at his residence on March 18, 2016 surrounded by his family. Born April 5, 1940, in San Benito, Texas. Samuel served In the US Army during the Vietnam Era and later worked as a salesman until his retirement.
Samuel is preceded in death by his parents: Hilario A. Garcia Sr. and Petra G. Garcia, brothers: Hilario B. Garcia Jr. and Hector A. Garcia.
He is survived by his loving Wife of 45 years: Argentina Gomez Garcia, daughter: Cynthia Ann Garcia from Austin, son: Samuel Emilio Garcia Jr. from Brownsville, siblings: Arnold (Minerva) Garcia, Irma Juarez, Elma Abrego, Adriana Escamilla, Sandra Garcia, Rosalinda Garcia and Olga (Luis) Gonzales and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 9am with a Rosary and Chapel Service at 10am.
According to his wishes Samuel will be cremated.
Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 205 from Harlingen.
