

She found her greatest joy in the outdoors, where she felt most at peace. Whether tending to her garden through the spring and summer months, casting a line while fishing, or spending time near the water, Esmeralda embraced the beauty of nature. She especially cherished her visits to the trails of Niagara Falls, where she created treasured memories. In quieter moments, she expressed her creativity through sewing and arts and crafts, hobbies that brought her both joy and fulfillment.
Esmeralda dedicated many years of her life to the healthcare field, where she was known not only for her dedication and professionalism, but for the warmth and compassion she showed to every person in her care. She always had a kind word to offer and a comforting presence that made a lasting impact on those she served.
Esmeralda is survived by her loving children: Marcos, Rosita, Angelina, and Manuel; her siblings: Lupe, Elena, Angelica, and Delia; and her cherished 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando and Maria, and her siblings Paula, Carmen, Fernando, George, and Jaime.
Visitation will be held on April 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas.
Esmeralda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family, and the care she extended to all whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
