Esperanza A. Garcia

Hope was an amazing mother, the best grandma, friend, dedicated public servant, educator, Catholic Daughter, Red Hatter, Mall Walker, H2U member, member of birthday club, member of the Mr. and Mrs. Dance club and part of two Bunco groups. She also volunteered at the hospital for several years and received “ volunteer of the year”.

Hope is survived by her husband, Oscar Garcia; her daughters Sylvia Garcia (Ruben Castellano) and Cindy Kincannon (Ed Kincannon); and her son Omar Garcia (Chelsea Garcia); her granddaughters Jenny Hope Carrillo and Jacklynn Kincannon, her grandsons Omie Garcia, Jude Garcia, Jonas Jackson, Spencer Jackson, Taylor Jackson and Rafael Arredondo.

Hope was preceded in death by her son Oscar Garcia †; her father Rafael Arredondo †; her brothers Manuel Arredondo † and Benjamin Arredondo †.

A visitation for Hope will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 11am and a Chapel Service at 12 pm in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
