Gilbert my good friend and Coach Vale. My most sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Mother. I know of how great a mother she was because you and I would talk about her quite often. I know how much she meant to you and how much you will miss her because I still miss my mom even after 20 years. Moms remain alive while we remember them and I know you well enough that you will never forget. I can still remember the pudding bread she use to send me. I was out of town when your mom passed and only found out while reading the old newspapers. You guys can count on me for anything you may need your friend James Bryan.

Pime was such a good friend to me.  We were officers in the Does together. We would talk and visit while standing in line as officers, waiting to march in the ballroom before meetings.  My sympathy goes out to each of you - she loved you dearly and I loved her dearly.

Our sincere condolences to the Montemayor family.  I moved away many years ago to Fort Worth, Texas, but I will always remember Tia Pime...how much she was loved by her cousin, my dad Miguel "Melo" Martinez and his family.  I remember Tia Pime as a wonderful fun-loving lady who truly enjoyed life!  May she rest in peace.

I remember most summers spending time at her house making us feel welcome as we played marbels on her living room floor....such great memories, always the great host serving us snacks and drinks....Gilbert, Norma and all the kids would spend time listening to music and the latest dances, Norma would try to teach us how to do the Locomotion and Limbo etc....The Solis family would like to send our deepest sympathies to all the Montemayor Family at this time of sorrow, it is just temporary as I know we will see her in heaven....Juan (Johnny) Solis
