Ester S. Rodriguez

Ester S. Rodriguez, 89, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in San Benito, Texas. Ester was born in Kingsville, Tx. She worked several years for McNair which later became Levi's Strauss until she retired in 1980. Thereafter she was a dedicated homemaker and business entrepreneur with her late husband Luis Rodriguez. Her support and dedication to her husband was a key Factor in helping them succeed in life and marriage of 72 years. While her husband was away tending to their business, she was tirelessly dedicated to making their house a home. She was firm yet loving and caring. Her love for her children and grandchildren in all generations will continue to be immeasurable; a part of her that will always be instilled in their hearts. You will be dearly missed but not forgotten. Preceded in death by her loving husband; Luis Rodriguez (La Palma), sons; Francisco, Leo and Luis Rodriguez Jr. (La Palmita), daughter; Irene (Rodriguez) Perez, Parents; Benjamin and Amalia Segura, sister; Rebecca Gonzales and brother; Roque Segura. Left to cherish her memory is her son; David (Laura) Rodriguez, daughter; Araceli (Daniel) Deleon, Daughter-in-law; San Juana (Leo+) Rodriguez, son-in-law; Lee (Irene+) Perez, sisters; Lola Rodriguez, Sarah Mosqueda, Rosa Brown and Raquel Brown, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers is David Rodriguez, Daniel Deleon, Mandy Felisha Betz, Amber Lynn Betz, Perry Guerra, Andalina Vazquez, Ashley Rojo and Melinda Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Leeawny Lee Rodriguez, Yvonne Rodriguez, Lolita Perez and Terrysa Guerra. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 10am to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10am followed by an interment at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
