Evilia Tejada

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reynaldo Lerma Tejada and Estefana Gomez Tejada and her brother Rodolfo “Rudy” Tejada.

Evilia “Evie” is survived by seven brothers, Reynaldo Jr.(Erie), Rogelio (Angie), Ruben (Norma) Ramon (Jackie), Ricardo (Lisa), Raul and Roel (Tarsha) and four sisters, Marisela Bocchetti, Adanela, Lubina, Janie Tejada and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints. The letters in her name describe Evilia as “Efficient, Vibrant, Immaculate, Lovely, Inquisitive and Amazing!” She dedicated her life to family, friends and her love of cooking and gardening. She was a fun loving person with a feisty spirit and a big heart. She loved to read, watch football and kept up with local, state and national politics. She was one of the most dedicated and loyal voters, who never passed up an opportunity to exercise that right. One of her joys was eating at her favorite restaurant, Johnny Carino’s and shopping. She loved the Christmas season and decorating the tree and house which she did beautifully.

Visitation will be held today Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 11am – 9pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A chapel service will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 1pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Her brothers Reynaldo, Rogelio, Ruben, Ramon, Ricardo, Raul and Roel Tejada will be the pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her loving nephews, Rey III, Romeo, Joshua, Jason, Ricky Jr. Tejada, Daniel Garcia and Aaron Bocchetti.
