He worked at United Foods Co. Pan Am. for 35 years. Francisco served in 1953 as a Marine Korean War and was the Union President for Post 172. Mr. Medina worked at Gateway Bridge for 10 years and was a Marine veteran.
Francisco is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Celia Medina; sister, Ofelia Williams; brother, Roberto Medina.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna Maria Medina; daughter, Nelda Ana Medina; granddaughter, Ana Gabrielle Alatorre.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 2:00p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in Chapel of Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe (1200 E. Lincoln St.) at 9:00 a.m. followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Pallbearers will be: Herbie B. Eckersley, Herbie B. Eckersley Jr., Benjamin R. Eckersley, Carlos Perez, Elias Perez and Oscar Cano Sanchez Jr.
