

Lupita was born in Mercedes, Texas and was the youngest of seven children born to Tonchita and Octaviano Ramirez. On April 8, 1951, Lupita married Modesto “Mo” Ramon and they made their home in Brownsville. She was a devoted wife to Mo and together they raised four children and two additional children left to their care by their dear friends. Lupita was widowed when her beloved husband, Mo, died in 1996.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by her loving husband, Modesto “Mo” Ramon; parents, Tonchita and Octaviano; and her siblings, Guadalupe (Lupe), Armando, Bertha, Amalia, Amparo, and Alejandro.
Left to cherish her life and memories include her son, Arturo Ramon; daughters, Yolanda Tullos, Rosie (Oscar) Duran, and Cynthia Gonzales; grandchildren, Arturo Ramon II, Jennifer Tullos, Joey (Karina) De La Garza, and Benjamin Ramon; great grandchildren, Madeline Ramon and Arturo Ramon III; Justina McCarty Kern; Lina McCarty Adolf; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary, Mother of the Church (1914 Barnard Rd.), followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
