Guadalupe Valdez

Mrs. Valdez was born to Mr. Victoriano and Mrs. Maria Luisa Reyes on November 10, 1925. She was involved in her church as a teacher, women's group leader, and evangelist.

Mrs. Valdez is preceded in death by her parents, Sister Maria Martinez, brother Ediberto Reyes, and brother David Reyes.

Mrs. Valdez is survived by her son Saul Valdez, daughter in law Cheryl Valdez, sister Martha Vasquez, brothers Gilberto Reyes, Alejandro Reyes, Paulo Reyes, Omar Reyes, Saul Reyes, grandchildren Jose Torres Jr., Justin Torres, and Shane Travis Valdez.

Visitaion was held Friday, May 2, 2014 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service held at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista.

Funeral services will be held today, Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 8:00a.m. to 9:20a.m. Preceded to Templo Damasco, 645 W. Elizabeth St. Brownsville, Texas, with Rev. Seferino Vasquez officiating. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
