Dear Patsy and family,  I am deeply sorry to hear of your mom's passing.  I remember her so well, she was a strong and vibrant beautiful lady with the sweetest personality.  She was a cool mom and always smiled.  She is smiling ever more now with our Lord and she will never leave you. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. TIA...YOU WERE A FUN LOVING LADY AND I'LL NEVER FORGET THAT...YOU WERE FUN TO TALK TO AND WITH AND ALWAYS HAD GREAT STORIES OF HOW MY DAD WAS LIKE GROWING UP...AND TIO NETO, BEING A SPORTS FAN, WAS AN ENJOYMENT TO SIT AND TALK SPORTS WITH...LOVED YOU BOTH AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART UNTIL THE END...

You will ALWAYS be remembered Tia Ida. I can reacall numerous times when I was in High School, I would take you and my Buelita to Walmart and you two would LOVE to buy towels and sheets. I will always cherish those days and the numerous nights spent in Buelita's kitchen (famous bar stools) talking in the weeee morning hours. You were one of a kind and and am proud to have had you as my Tia.

Dear Ernie:  My most sincere condolences to You and your Family.   Even though I didn't meet your Mother,  I would had loved to spend one afternnoon "platicando con ella".  Sounds like a very good and loving  person.  I am sure our Good Lord has welcomed her in his Kingdom.

Condolences on behalf of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word.  Those of us ministering in Brownsville now do not have a memory of her. She is now in heaven with the Sisters that taught her.  We are praying for the repose of her soul and for strength for you, the family.

Looking at all the pictures brought so many good memories and tears. It's amazing how time flies by. Tia Ida was a loving, giving funny woman. I am so grateful I had an opportunity to know her and love her. I miss the times I would sit and be entertained by my mother and her sisters with all their funny stories and dirty jokes.  She will live in each one of her children and their children.

Our most sincere sympathy to all of you from all our family. Tia Ida was special.  Always loving and hugging on all of us, her neices and nephews.  Being Frances' oldest child, I remember Tia Ida and Uncle Neto in Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.  I would go visit them with Grandma Nico and Grandpa Bryan in the summer. My dearest Aunt Ida:  When we visited about 6mo. ago you still knew me, did not know neto, though.  We laughed and I hugged and kissed you as we had done whenever we saw each other,even though we always lived away, you made me feel like time stood still.  Having lost Mom, your sister, Frances, I know the heavy hearts your family are dealing with.  To all my cousins, We love you and we will pray for you.  Only time helps.  The pain never really goes away. With much love and sympathy Ernesto and Lucy Tamez, and family.

We were twice blessed with Tia Ida and Tio Neto, he was Moms brother and she was Dads sister.  We have wonderful childhood memories of countless visits to Tio Neto and Tia Idas house...especially the holidays.  We love our "double cousins" as our siblings because we grew up with them, their best friends and Genaro, whom we loved as our family too. Tia Ida and Tio Neto cooked generous meals for all of us at every event.  We had so much fun with our huge family. Only those of us who have had the blessing of our  family dynamics can truly understand the greatest wealth of all is family. Dad, my sisters and I went to visit Tia Ida over the 4th of July weekend and I am so grateful for our last visit. We had a beautiful talk about  her childhood, Tio Neto, her kids, grandkids and her little birds. We even talked about her favorite merienda, a "cochinito and coffee".  Tia Ida is in heaven with Tio Neto, Mom and all of her siblings. What an amazing family...its the greatest blessing.
 They left a beautiful legacy and their memories will live in our hearts forever. God has called his Angel home.

My deepest condolence for Tia Ida's passing.  I didn't know her personally, but from what my dad has told me, she sounds like she was a compassionate and genuine lady.  Our prayers are with your family as you go through this very difficult time.  But rest assured that she is with my grandpa "Pepo" (her brother) and so many other loved ones enjoying her grand heavenly reward!  God Bless you all!

     Our sincerest condolence in Tia Ida's homegoing.  One of our first memories of Tia Ida was her loyal support at every Hanna game alongside Tio Neto.  She always gave me a big hug and kiss calling me "Jimmy" every time she saw me .  Her and Tio Neto were even in the background of one of the pictures in our Brownsville High School yearbook many, many years ago.  I always admired how she supported her boys in sports. Tia, we will miss you but know that you are at peace alongside Tio Neto and our Heavenly Father .

Dearest Mrs. V, may you rest in peace now with your beloved husband. I will always remember you watching Patsy and I as we were excited young adults getting dressed to go out on the town. You often stood there telling us you wait you two when you have your kids and how much you are going to worry. Patsy would reply oh mom and I would just giggle. The circle has come full circle Mrs v and you were right. our children are going out and we as mothers are always worring now. You always greeted me with a beautiful smile and so much love and I am saddened by your passing, but know that you are at peace now. Your family was truly blessed to have had such a wonderful and loving mother in your lives.  She gave unconditional love.  She instilled in each of you her highest standards and the immeasurable love each of you extend to each other and everyone you come into contact with.  She was so very proud of each of you.  She will live forever in your hearts.  She will live forever in mine.  My sincerest condolences to the Villarreal family. I share in your grief, but also in the joy that she is now walking on streets of gold.
