Imelda C. Pena

After retirement Imelda enjoyed being a great mother spending time with family and friends, working on crafts, jewelry, wreaths, and enjoyed doing puzzles and being on her phone.

Imelda is survived by her spouse Leandro Pena Jr., children Eric Pena (Andralin Marquez Pena), David Lee Pena (Yvonne Tabares Pena) and Laura Lee Pena (William L. Harlow), siblings Maria Rivera (Alberto Rivera), Yolanda Garza, Joe Camacho and Abelardo Camacho Jr., 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Imelda was preceded in death by her parents Maria Mora Camacho and Abelardo Camacho Sr.

Imelda C. Pena also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who she loved with all her heart.

A visitation for Imelda will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526. A chapel service will occur Friday, April 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn followed by a burial at 1:00 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526.
