Irma C. Martinez

Irma C. Martinez, 69, daughter of Aurelio and Amelia Cisneros, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at VBMC in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on July 15, 1945 in Matamoros, Tamps.

Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her parents, Aurelio Cisneros and Amelia Chapa; brother, Rafael Cisneros; and her husband, Carlos Martinez Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Susan (Isaac Jr.) Ledezma, Lorena Martinez, and Carlos L. Martinez Jr.; grandson, Carlos L. Martinez III and his mother, Ameli Martinez; and her siblings, Guadalupe (Juan) Sanchez, Angelica Martinez, Aurora (Everardo) Perez, Ernesto (Petra) Cisneros, Agusto (Oralia) Cisneros, and Oscar (Mara) Cisneros.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Mass will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel (1055 Military Hwy.), followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Gregorio Padilla, Eddie Garza, Adrian Perez, Joe Gonzalez, Adrian Perez Jr., Victor Salazar, Julio Raygoza, and Isaac Ledezma Jr.
