As a little girl she was the sweetest daughter and sister to her three brothers. Loved school and spent many years helping her grandmother through her elder years. Her life as a youth was not easy and was the spark of joy to all lives that experienced her presence. As a teenager, she was an exceptional volleyball player and quite an athlete herself. The legacy she left was her agape love she demonstrated to her husband, Humberto E. Meza, and children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren and the endless number of friends and endless lives that she impacted everywhere she went.
A nurturing unconditional love that made you feel like you were the most special person in the room. For those who were close to her knew she was the true definition of a Proverbs 31 woman. She carried herself with impeccable taste in sophistication and class. There was nowhere she would go that she didn't have her best outfit and favorite lipstick. Her innocence and forgiving heart were pure, which made us love her more, even if sometimes you questioned how someone could be the epitome of turning the cheek the other way and forgiving 70 times 7. She held the bar high of what it was to love God and thy neighbor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Humberto Eliseo Meza; her brother, Alfredo De la Garza.
She is survived by her Brothers Juan Diego De La Garza, Gilberto De La Garza.
