Israel was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for his family. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing along the Texas coast, listening to the calming sounds of the beach, and spending cherished moments with those he held dear.
Israel is survived by his beloved wife, Olga Lidia Arguelles; his children, Brisa Arguelles, Israel Arguelles Jr., Guadalupe Arguelles, and Isai Arguelles; and his mother, Maria Magdalena Arguelles. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren: Angel Arguelles, Cielo Saenz, Kristabelle Saenz, Isaac Roy Arguelles, and Elias Ray Arguelles. Each of them carries forward his legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.
He was preceded in death by his father, Adolfo Arguelles, whom he deeply admired and missed throughout his life.
Israel’s warm spirit and love for his family will forever be remembered. His stories, his laughter, and the peaceful way he embraced the world around him will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Israel will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, with a rosary from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
