Jesus Chapa had previously been employed at the University of Texas-Austin, as a researcher for the Center of Electromechanics, where he thoroughly enjoyed his work. Previous to his years there, he worked for Kemet in Matamoros. Your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time are greatly appreciated by the family.
Jesus is survived by his parents, Ivan and S. Noelia Chapa; brothers, Roberto Chapa (Anne) and David Chapa (Jasmin); sisters, Lucy Marie Chapa and Diana Chapa.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m.with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 2:00p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (1914 Barnard Rd.) followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
