It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesus Teran, a devoted family man, hardworking provider, and passionate lover of life, who left us far too soon.
Jesus was known for his dedication and skill as a diesel mechanic, a trade he took great pride in. His hands were never idle—whether working under the hood of a truck or manning the grill at a family cookout, he was always doing something for those he loved.
A lifelong fan of baseball and soccer, Jesus especially enjoyed cheering on his favorite team, Cruz Azul, through victories and defeats. He also found joy and calm in watching nature shows, fascinated by the beauty and wonder of the natural world.
Above all, Jesus was a man who put family first. He worked tirelessly to ensure that his loved ones had everything they needed, often sacrificing for others without hesitation. His love could be tasted in the meals he cooked, felt in the support he offered, and seen in the way he lived his life with honor and purpose.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his generous heart, and the laughter and warmth he brought to every gathering.
Jesus Teran's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Jesus is survived by his wife, Maria G. Vázquez de Teran; his children Pedro L. Teran, Jesus A. Teran Jr. (Yanira), Luis E. Teran, daughter Santa G. Teran, his grandchildren Anthony Teran, Miguel Teran, Valerie Teran, Katelyn Teran, Sebastian Teran, Madelyn Teran, and his 2 great-grandchildren Ezio Teran and Azalea Teran.
Jesus was preceded in death by his father Juan Manuel Teran †, his mother Paula Gutierrez †, and his grandson Jaiden D. Teran †.
A visitation for Jesus will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM with a chapel service at 3:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mc.Davitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX, .
