Jose Jesus Joya Navarro

Jose Jesus Joya Navarro, 82, of Brownsville, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Jose Jesus was born May 18, 1940. He was a beloved husband, devoted father and loving grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.

Jose Jesus is survived by his daughter Blanca Estela Lozano; his son Jose Alfonso Joya (Lulu); his son Jose Jesus Joya (Jessica); and his daughter Daena Joya; his grandson Joshua Lozano, his grandson James Lozano, his granddaughter Megan Lozano, his grandson Franco Joya, his grandson Nico Joya, his granddaughter Samantha Joya, his grandson Kairo Joya and his grandson Cristian Joya.

Jose Jesus was preceded in death by his wife Margarita Joya †; his mother Rita Mercedes Navarro †.

A visitation for Jose Jesus will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Monday, June 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Church, 1218 E Jefferson, Brownsville, Texas 78520. Followed by a burial at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.

Serving as pallbearers are Jose Alfonso Joya, Jose Jesus Joya, Joshua Lozano, James Lozano, Gonzalo Herrera and Porfirio Estrada.
