“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.” Jose Reyes Nuñez, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many, will be remembered as a hardworking man with family being his priority. Jose loved spending time in the garden and tinkering in his shed. He enjoyed spending time helping others fix anything from a toy to any household repairs. His incredible imagination and ability to refurbish old treasures to serve a new purpose were a testament of his belief, “ todo sirve, si lo sabes utilizar.” He was a man of few words, a strict disciplinarian with much wisdom to share through his unending words of wisdom that he experienced in childhood.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents Mother Guadalupe and Father Santiago Nunez, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Jose is survived by his loving wife, Dina Nunez, 5 children, Elva G. Nunez, Yolanda Turbeville, Miguel A. Nunez, Margarita Nunez, Martha L. Aguirre, 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Serving as Pallbearers are Jose M. Nunez, Ramiro Longoria, William T. Turbeville, Ryan A. Turbeville, Miguel S. Nunez, Mathew W. Brown, Michael E. Nunez, Xavier R. Aguirre, and Oscar T. Aguirre.
