Julia was a strong and independent woman. She worked hard to support and raise her children, whom she loved deeply. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great-great grandchildren. Her family always came to her when they needed help or advice. She loved to sew, knit, and cook. Her last job was at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, which she retired from. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Julia is survived by her son Fernando Banda (Chris); her son Jose Angel Banda (Jessica); her son Arturo Banda (Jane); her daughter Maria Elena Ramos (Henry); and her daughter Esther Turrubiate (Felix); her brother Cipriano Rivera; her nephew Victor RIvera.
Julia was preceded in death by her son Seberiano Flores † and her daughter Julia Cain †; her father Seberiano Trinidad † and her mother Refugia Enriquez †; her sister Esther Enriquez †; her sister Josepha Contreras †; her sister Lucia Beltran †; her sister Bacilia Sanchez †; her sister Eduvijez Rocha †; her sister Francisca Vasquez †; her sister Dolores RIvera † and her brother Victoriano Trinidad †.
A visitation for Julia will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 12PM to 9PM with a Rosary at 7PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2405 E Tyler St, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Followed by a burial at 11AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Felix Turrubiate, David Jimenez, Enrique Ramos Jr., Arthur Banda, Steve Ramos, Carlos Reyes, Johnathan Alvarez and Alec Banda.
