Guadalupe Martinez, 60, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into the glory of her eternal rest on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 in Brownsville, Texas. Lupita was born in Matamoros, Mexico but lived and raised her family in Brownsville, Texas. A devoted wife and loving mother, Lupita was proud to raise her five children and to see her two grandchildren come into the world. She loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She taught them all the value of hard-work, education, honesty, loyalty, integrity, strength of character, and family. Lupita was a very religious and spiritual woman who instilled in her children a deep faith in God and to appreciate all of his many blessings. Lupita was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family and those that knew her. She was our queen. Lupita was preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Isidora Lule. Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her husband, Hector Jesus Martinez, her five children, Heidi (Rene) Oliveira, Rubi “Ale” (Tiffany) Martinez, Hector (Juvenal) Martinez, Edgar (Rosario) Martinez, and Aracely (Miguel) Ramirez, her two granddaughters, Elanor Isidora Oliveira and Valeria Martinez, her siblings, Noe (Marialena) Lule, Maria De La Luz (Juan) Chavez, Hermelinda (Humberto) Lozoya, and Alicia (Jesus) Perez, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
