Manuela L. Esquivel, 102, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Sunshine Haven. Manuela was born in June 13, 1915 to Pedro and Pilar Loera in Villa Nueva, Tx. She was a very strong willed woman who believed in following religious and moral principles. Even though Manuela lacked an education she made sure that her three children received an education. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. Mrs. Esquivel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alejandro Esquivel, Sr., her sister Heriberta Loera, and her son Juan Esquivel. She is survived by her daughter Arminda E. Trevino (Gerardo), her son Alejandro Esquivel, Jr., her granddaughters Arminda Elisa Trevino(Sky), Diana Alexandra Trevino and her three great-grandchildren Malakai, Feona and Sergio. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 12pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Chapel Service at 2pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista followed by a committal service to Buena Vista Burial Park.
