She is described by her family as a wonderful; mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a very loving wife for 51 years to her husband, Basilio…by far the best mom ever. Maria Elena loved plants, gardening and enjoyed taking care of them at home.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Anita Valdez and Elizeo Maldonado.
Maria Elena is survived by her loving husband, Basilio Bañuelos; sons, Danny, Cecilio, Benito, Librado Jacob and Basilio III Bañuelos; daughters, Maribel, Corina, Linda and Margarita Bañuelos.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
