Loving mother and wife, took her final journey to our fathers embrace in heaven “Gordis” we will miss your hugs and laughter, but in our Lords time we know we will see you again one day. Ya te hechamos mucho menos. Nos quedan los recuerdos de tu risa y tus consejos. No veremos cuando nuestro camino llegue a su fin.

Ofelia is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Perales and Felicitas Fuentes de Perales; sisters, Carmen Sandoval and Julia Garza; brothers, Ruben Perales and Alvaro Perales.

She is survived by her husband, Antonio M. Benavidez; her siblings, Ignacio Perales, Elvira Martinez, Manuel Perales, and Maria Castillo; her children, Marco A. (Yolanda) Benavidez, Norma Casas, Sylvia (Juan) Rios, Maricela (Carlos) Guzman, Araceli (Luis) Leal, Manuel (Linda) Benavidez, Mario Alberto Benavidez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 11am – 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Saint Joseph at 555 W. St. Francis with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Marco A. Benavidez, Mario A. Benavidez, Manuel Benavidez, Charley Casas, Edwin Benavidez and Arturo Rios.
