

With deep sorrow and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Pablo Villarreal, who departed this life peacefully on his 93rd birthday, May 17, 2025. Born in San Antonio, Texas, Pablo was the beloved son of Primitivo Villarreal Salinas and Ana Garza Galván.
Pablo was preceded in death by his first wife, Nidia Cárdenas, with whom he lovingly raised four children: Ana Catalina Brenick, Pablo Tadeo (Martha) Villarreal , Laura Yolanda (Fernando) Galindo and Rosbel Hernán (Ofie) Villarreal.
He was later blessed with a second marriage to Rosario Rodríguez de Villarreal, his devoted wife of 47 years. They shared a life of love and happily raised their son Julio César Villarreal. Together they supported each other through the sad and unexpected loss of Julio.
Pablo is survived by his loving wife Rosario, 4 children and their spouses, 18 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his cherished sister Olga, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family around the world who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Ricardo, Emma, Eugenio, Minerva, Beto, Primitivo, Margarita, and María Isabel, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
A man of great intelligence and integrity, Pablo studied accounting in Mexico. He earned his real estate broker certification from Texas Southmost College and worked as a respected insurance broker. He was admired for his professionalism, his warmth, and his dedication to family and community.
Pablo’s memory will live on through all the lives he touched. He was a man of deep values, strength, and unwavering love. His legacy will continue in the hearts of his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A visitation for Pablo will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Chapel of Peace, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
