

“Panfilita” as her friends knew her was a devout Catholic and rejoiced in praising God through prayer and various service groups. “Buela” was instrumental in raising all her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dionicio and Lourdes Pérez; beloved aunt, Longina Galindo; sons, Horacio Galindo and Juan Galindo, Jr.
Panfila is survived by her husband of 73 years, Juan Galindo; daughters, Magdalena Galindo, Socorro Padilla (Alfonso, Jr.+), Juanie García (Juan, Jr.+), Marta Atkinson (Mark), Maricela Orozco (Rafael, Jr.), Araceli Orive (Gene, Jr.) ; 9 granchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granchild; numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1200 E. Lincoln St.) with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Gene Orive Jr., Rafael Orozco Jr., Mark Atkinson, Jovanni Garcia, Sergio Padilla and Xavier Padilla.
