Rogelio Sauceda

A loving husband, father, and son, Roy Sauceda, 44, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. Roy was born in Brownsville, Texas on July 18, 1967 to Francisco and Maria de Jesus Sauceda. He grew up in Brownsville and graduated from Homer Hanna High School in 1987. He moved to Saipan where he met the love of his life, Tina Cepeda whom he married and they had a son, Roy Sauceda, Jr. In 2004 he moved back to Brownsville with his family. Roy Sauceda is a former employee of Cameron County. He worked for the Cameron County Clerk, Joe G. Rivera and then with Justice of the Peace Linda Salazar.

Roy is survived by his wife Tina Cepeda Sauceda and his son, Roy Jr.; his parents, Francisco Sauceda and Maria de Jesus Sauceda; four sisters and one brother, Elvira S. (Rogelio) Ortiz, Anita S. (Alfredo) Padilla, Francisco Sauceda (Lizette), Marisela S. (Jesse) Munoz, and Dalila S. (Joe) Esquivel.

Serving as pallbearers will be George Perez, Carlos Guerrero, Jesus Munoz, Rogelio Cordova, Andrew Sauceda, Roberto Gomez, Jose Felipe Diaz, Jesse Munoz Jr., Jesus Munoz Sr., Rogelio Ortiz Jr., and Orlando Ortiz. Honorary pallbearers, Frank Sauceda, Alfredo Padilla and Rogelio Ortiz.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 9pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1200 Lincoln St., Brownsville, Texas with committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park on Wednesday, April 18, 2012.
