Rosa Linda Martinez, was born July 3, 1953, in San Benito, Texas, and passed away on July 8, 2020, from complications of COVID-19. She loved gardening and was an avid sports enthusiast. Her smile and laughter will be greatly missed. Rosie is preceded in death by her parents Pedro Martinez and Josefina Fernandez, her siblings Silvia Beisteiro, Margret Garza, Ralph & Peter Martinez, and her grandson Collin Andrew Castillo. She is survived by her children Mark Anthony (Marcia) Leija, Laura Ann Leija, and Allison Nicole Castillo. She is also survived by her sisters Nena Martinez, Carmen Martinez, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Saturday, July 18th, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mc Davitt Blvd., Brownsville,Texas, 78521 from 12pm-9pm.
