

She was born in Brownsville, Tx on May 7th, 1914. She was a strong willed individual that always welcomed and greeted everyone with open arms. She was a warm hearted and loving person that will be forever cherished in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her son, Santiago Hernandez and daughter, Elva Martinez.
Victoria “Doña Vicky” is survived by one brother, Benito Fuentes; her five children, Maria Elena Hernandez, Antonia Hernandez, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Margarita H. Dives and Juan Hernandez; 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 11am – 10pm with a rosary at 7pm.
Visitation will continue Friday, September 14, 2012 from 8-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 555 W. St. Francis with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Cesario Gonzalez Jr., Antonio Gonzalez, Julio Cesar Gonzalez, Santiago Hernandez Jr., Juan Dives, Francisco Santiago Hernandez, Eduardo Martinez Jr. and Moises Rey Hernandez.
We would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Luis Robles, nurses and staff at VRMC in particular nurses Nancy, Celia and CNA Margarita and Amistad Adult Day Care.
