

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 15 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Smetana Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday November 14 from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Ada was born April 27, 1946 in Bryan to John P. and Dona (Saladino) Fitting. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1964. She married David Horelka on June 4, 2000. She was an active member of Sons of Hermann Bryan Lodge 99 serving as youth director, secretary of the Home Association and a bingo caller for many years. Ada worked for her sister and brother-in-law at Martin’s Place for 15 years. She was known for her homemade greasy hamburgers. She served many Aggies through the years.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, David Horelka; daughter, Connie Holler and fiancé David McDaniel; son, Randy Holler all of the Smetana Community; sister, Betty Kapchinskie and husband Steve of Bryan; grandchildren, Wesley Konderla and wife Rachael of College Station, James Holler of Bryan and Gavin Holler of Cypress; great-granddaughter, Jamie Konderla of College station; nephew, Brian Kapchinskie of College Station; niece, Mandy Kapchinskie of Bryan; stepdaughter, Sherri Greak and husband Chad; step grandchildren, MaKayla and Cameron of Rosharon, TX. She is also survived by numerous cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and many special friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Randy Holler, Wesley Konderla, Brian Kapchinskie, Vince Saladino, David E. Crowder, Joe Penicka. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Kapchinskie, David McDaniel, Charles Dlabay, and Daniel Matcek.
The family would like to thank the doctors at Central Texas Heart Center especially Dr. Kennon D. Wigley for the loving care he provide for the past eleven years. We also would like to thank all the nurses in the Critical Care Unit at St. Joseph for the care they gave her during the last days of her life.
