I am so sorry to hear about Bennie passing. We worked together last year at Davila. I could always count on Bennie to keep me straight. We had a fun year together. She always had a big smile on her face when she talked about her kids. Bennie helped me alot with the culture shock after my move from SC I can still hear her laughing at me and saying iyiyi.

I can not believe this! I did not know about Bennie until I saw the paper Monday afternoon. I am so sorry I missed the funeral. I am praying and thinking about all of you. I will miss seeing Bennie. Bennie was a very wonderfull woman to be around and know. She was real happy taking her trips to Marksville, La. We will miss her. My God be with all of you in your time of loss.

Bennie has been a friend to me since the first grade at St. Joseph's School.  I have many great memories of that time.  Within the past several years she was my strength and lead me to San Juan, a place of great healing.  I will never forget her love and kindness, her great example of Faith.
