

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church.
Corinne was borne in Burelson County, Texas on November 5, 1919. She was a graduate of Navasota High School, attended Sam Houston State Teachers College, and taught school several years during World War II. She married William Davis Whitted in 1942, and spent most of her married life in Baytown, Texas. As a part of her husband's career with Exxon, they lived in the Netherlands from 1969-70. Corinne was a homemaker who always put her family first. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baytown for over 50 years.
Corinne was also a community volunteer whose interests included Exxon Annuitants, the Pilot Club of Baytown, San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown, and the Alter Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baytown. She was an avid bridge player and gardener.
Corinne was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Ouida Court; husband, William Davis Whitted Sr.; son, William Davis Whitted Jr.; four brothers, one sister and a grandchild.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Whitted and wife Jennifer, Joe Whitted all of Texas City, Texas; daughter-in-law, Judy Whitted of Denton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made in Corinne's honor to a charity of choice.
