Cread was known to many as Tex. You could always find him around town in one of his cowboy hats. He had a great love for horses and enjoyed many miles on trail rides with friends over the years. Cread loved to cook especially on the grill. He was an awesome story teller and could recite for hours the endless adventures he had during his lifetime, never leaving out any of the details. He would have everyone on the edge of their chairs as he told of his life adventures, just waiting to hear the next detail.
As we close this chapter of his life it is not the end, rather a new beginning. We will mourn his loss and miss his presence on earth, but rejoice in knowing he is with the Lord and not in any pain from congestive heart failure. He has gone to be with those he loved that have passed before him and dwell in the house of the Lord. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Cread went to be with the Lord on his Mother’s birthday and I know there was a huge celebration that day, following the celebration of her birthday and his entering into the house of the Lord I am sure he went to pick out a new horse.
We were all blessed to have known him and shared times with him, no visit was ever too small or too long. No matter who you were if you knew Cread he made you feel like family.
