

On Tuesday, April 5th, at 2:30 in the afternoon David Lee Nault Jr passed away at home in Bryan Tx, holding his wife’s hand. David had been battling many serious health issues for years and was recently diagnosed with stage five kidney failure.
He was born in San Antonio, Texas, March 25, 1960 to David Lee Nault Sr and Germaine Johanna Patten Nault. David grew up in Oak Hill, just South of Austin, where his family still lives today. He went to Crockett High School where he made lifelong friendships.
After school he started a long, successful career as an service electrician, his passion, in Central Texas. His second passion was NASCAR, every weekend you could find him in front of the tv for every race. Anyone who knew him, knew his love for his dog ’Gizmo’ who was his companion for 22 years. Gizmo passed away last year on April 5th, the exact date as David.
David was a great father and best friend, he will be missed by many. David is proceed in death by his mother, Germaine two years ago after battling Parkinson’s.
He is survived by wife Rusty of Bryan, father David Nault Sr of Oak Hill, sisters Connie Gray of Georgetown, Cathy Woodard of Oak Hill and brother Dennis Nault from Plano. His children Melissa Nault of Austin, Robert Nault and Michelle Barnes of San Marcos, Ashley Klein of Dripping Springs, Haley Nault and Tomas Diaz of San Marcos, step children Nick Gregory of College Station, Sydney Gregory of Bryan and Hayli Sundberg of Temple, grandchildren Kylie, Nora, Nash and Eva.
David is being cremated at Memorial Funeral Home in Bryan. Per his wishes, his ashes will be spread on the beach in Corpus Christi, Tx, where he married his childhood sweetheart.
We will have a celebration of life for him in the near future, date and time to be announced.
