After graduating Yorktown High School, Frank attended Victoria College and attained his First Class Radio Operators License. Frank was employed by ATT for 35 years as a communications technician in offices in Victoria, Austin and Yorktown, Texas. He retired in 1999. Frank also worked in farming on a part-time basis, lending support to his widowed mother with the family farm beginning in 1967.

Frank was active at St Joseph Catholic Church, attending Adoration Chapel weekly, serving as a Eucharistic Minister at two assisted living centers and, more recently, serving as a sacristan. A highlight of Frank’s spiritual life was going on a pilgrimage to Medjugorge in the 80’s where he had the honor of playing for a Mass at St James Catholic Church in the room in which Our Lady is said to have appeared to the 6 young visionaries. After retirement, Frank and his wife enjoyed trips to the northeast for fall colors, to the Maine coast, to the northwestern US and to Banff, Canada. They also greatly enjoyed 2 Alaskan cruises.
