Grace Kinney Wilson

Grace was born on November 7, 1951, in Calvert, TX, to Eugene and Julia Kinney, and was the cherished baby sister of 11 siblings. She attended Calvert High School and was a devoted member of the Morning Star Baptist Church in Calvert, TX, before joining the

fellowship at Mt. Olive Baptist Church also in Calvert, TX. She began her career at the Dairy Dip in Calvert and retired as a dedicated home health worker for many family members and friends over the years.

Grace was reunited in the afterlife with her husband, Claude Wilson; her parents, Eugene and Julia Kinney; her brothers, Randolph Kinney, Eugene Kinney Jr., Kenneth Kinney Sr., and Willie Kinney; and her sisters, Joyce Gilmore and Narlisha Richardson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Christopher Kinney (Angelia) of Conroe, TX, Demond Wilson of Calvert, TX, and Gerald Wilson (Bonnie) of Milano, TX; her daughters, Molina Hurst and Latricia Wilson, both of Bryan, TX, and Estella Wilson Grant (Dewayne) of College Station, TX; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She also leaves 1 sister, Fannie Mary Killings of Houston, Tx; 3 brothers , James Kinney Sr. of Calvert, Tx , Charles Kinney and LC Kinney, both of Houston, Tx; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family and dear friends.

She was known as a "MASTER" in the kitchen, a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother/great-grandmother, and a friend. We find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lessons she taught us, the love she shared, and the memories we will cherish forever. Grace will truly be missed but never forgotten!

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, Texas with Reverend Kervin Babers officiating. Committal will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, (FM 1464), Calvert, Texas.

Grace's pallbearers will be Philip Hurst, Tyrone Huffman Jr., Ja'Mikel Fletcher, William Golden Jr., Demarcus Benson, and Christopher Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be James Kinney Sr., Charles Kinney, L.C. Kinney, Anthony Kinney, Randall Green, James Kinney Jr., Tre Kinney and Stephen Cooper.
