Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday February 6 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Visitation will be one prior to service time. Interment will be held at Kurten Cemetery.
Gus was born on October 23, 1947 in Kurten to Gus H. Schultz Sr. and Edelwise (Herzog) Schultz. He was a lifelong member of Zion Church of Kurten.
Gus is preceded in death by his parents; and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Becker.
Gus is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Laren (Becker) Schultz; daughters, Tracy Schultz and Shelly Schultz; father-in-law, Robert Becker; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Cindy Becker all of College Station; aunt, Carolyn Teeter of Bryan; granddaughters, Ashley Schultz Williams and husband Anthony, and Kelsey Schultz; great-grandsons, Jace Nelson and Nathan Williams and one great-grandson baby Braden Williams, due in May all of College Station; and numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family at 809 Turtle Dove, College Station, Texas 77845 to help with funeral expenses.
